Behind the initiative
Participating in international mathematics olympiads since primary school and a member of the Singapore International Mathematics Olympiad (SIMO) Training Team, Victor scored 8 distinctions in the A Level examinations (90 Rank Points + H3 Mathematics distinction). Even more remarkably, he was the top Mathematics student in Raffles Institution in 2014, 2016 and 2017.
Also a member of the Singapore International Mathematics Olympiad (SIMO) Training Team, Chenxu scored 9 distinctions in the A Level examinations (90 Rank Points + H3 Mathematics distinction + H3 Physics distinction)
Winning a gold medal in the Singapore Chemistry Olympiad, Ian topped the cohort in both H2 Chemistry and H2 Physics in the 2019 RI Prelims examinations, scoring 92% for the former. He also scored 7 distinctions in the A Levels examinations, and was the top student in Raffles Institution from 2016 to 2017.

Dr. Loh Wing Wah
A lifelong educator, Dr. Loh oversees content production at JC Crash Courses and the management of this website. An entrepreneur and founder and Chief Executive Officer at FairEx International Financial Systems Pte Ltd, an award-winning, pioneering peer-to-peer Forex trading platform, Dr. Loh was a truly outstanding student back in the day. He was awarded the Prime Minister’s Book Prize for his academic success, and later went on to graduate from the University of Cambridge, attaining triple first-class honours in the Mathematical Tripos. He then obtained his PhD at Stanford University in the field of Operations Research, and worked for many years in some of the top global banks.
In the midst of his overseas studies, Dr. Loh obtained a Postgraduate Certificate in Education from the University of London Institute of Education. Possessing a wealth of experience lecturing in Singapore’s top universities, he now serves as the chairman of the Nanyang Technological University College of Science Advisory Board.
